Farewell! It's been a blast!
Howdy Friends,
After over six years of promoting public hearing loss, the self-proclaimed "Punk Uncles of Cincinnati" (aka Caterpillar Tracks) have decided to hang it up. It's been a good run and many great times were had, but we're going to put this thing to bed with a smile and make room in our lives for family and other projects. We all believe Caterpillar Tracks was a special experience and an important part of our development as musicians and as individuals. After playing many packed houses, from as close as our back yards to as far away as Europe, who can say it was anything less than awesome?
We want to thank the countless number of folks who have supported us over the years - our families, our audience, our gracious hosts on the road and other bands all over the midwest and in Cincinnati. More specifically we want to thank Jerry Dirr at Phratry Records for believing in our music enough to invest his time and energy toward the release of it. Many thanks to Jon Weidenbacher for being an integral part of our genesis...and thanks to Jason Snell for adding some delicious icing to our latest efforts. We also want to thank Mike Montgomery for helping us forge our vision in the early days by recording our first record.
Please come bid us a final farewell on May 15 at The Northside Tavern, as we celebrate our tenure as a band and offer our fourth and final release "The Fallbreaker" (recorded, mixed and mastered by Steve Wethington at New Fidelity Collective). We will be joined by NKY-Virginia transplants Heeva Hava and label-mates Knife the Sympony. It's gonna be a hoot to say the least. See you there.
Much Love,
Caterpillar Tracks

2009: We can't be friends anymore.
2009 was good and bad for us here in the Caterpillar Tracks camp. We wrote some new songs that'll be out on a vinyl LP from Phratry Records in 2010. Our van broke down alot, we started a failed stimulus package, we missed alot of shows, some of us lost jobs, had sick kids, got married, and saw lots of good bands call it quits.
We're crafty veterans and we'll have a nice new platter in the spring. Don't call it come back, we've been here for years.
